Coleford Festival of Words

The theme for this event is 'I'm Reading'



This year Coleford festival of Words begins with Christophers catapillars and ends with a day at a local coal mine( with its own bus stop) celebrating 800 years since working people were granted rights to use and live in the Forest of Dean.

Along the way Hollie McNish performs her work which has just won the Ted Hughes prize for poetry, Miles Jupp talks about his new book Egg and Soldiers and there is a play about Forest of Dean born author Dennis Potter,

Young poets, A Taste N Tales USA with food and stories to share with Charlie Marwick and premiere of film about the local campaign to oppose the sell off of the Forests for more details try www.thecolefordhub.info
